About Rankor Chronicles
Here's everything you want to know about Rankor Chronicles:
Q. How did you come up with this?
A. Rankor Chronicles comes from the RP with the same name I made in the Sporum,.
And thus, using the characters people created, I came up with the idea of making a comic about the RP (though changing it QUITE A LOT) in August. It was more or less like this:
5th August 2009, 7:30 am
SandraMJ: "I wanna make a comic!"
And that's how it began. A couple of months later, I decided to scrap completely the previous plot and dump everyone's characters.
Q. Then all the characters don't belong to you?
A. They do, since all but two characters belong to me (those are Andrea, who belongs to leestriter, and Kuwan, who belongs to magmak)
Q. When does the story in RC happen?
A. In a fiction Medieval time. So, obsessive Inquisitors, knights, kings, etc. Apart from that, I still haven't fixed an specific year and place (other that an invented continent in general, Ba'Tera, with invented kingdoms, of course.)
Q. Now seriously, did your characters just appear like that? You never thought about this before?
A. Well, I did indeed plan something like this for a long time...
Lexa and the crew are the result of the mix of several characters I made when I was a child (don't say I'm a child, because now I'm a teen) in which we can remark:
-Drake Bat Chip: This is like Lexa's oldest prototype. I imagined him when I was 4 or 5 years old. Thanks to him, I got some friends then, and I played a lot with my new friends.
Facts: He was a boy with dragon parts, which were: scales, dragon wings, horns, sky-blue hair, a dragon tail, and long ears (and he was a 12 years old muscle-head)
I made a whole story for he, with loads and loads of characters, and to say the truth, I'm still surprised I didn't make the comic about him. One day.
-Mark the Dragon: I imagined him when I was like 8. He followed Drake's story, since he was his son. I also imagined a story for him, drew several short comics, and even thought about a film.
Retarded imagination, fun fact, whatever: this time he was a full-dragon boy (what was weird, since his mother was a tiger-girl) which was 14, had a big brother called Mike. He also worked in a restaurant, and was a ninja in his free time. Yes, really.
-Billy B.: Made him when I was 7. I imagined him because I began drawing ears and eyes (and a cute scarf) on the Bs we wrote for correcting (we write B, not V, when something is correct) He was basically a B, but with some of Lexa's physical features (same hair and ears) and also some of Lero's clothing (same bracelts and arms)
Fun fact: At first he was some kind of B-shaped Pikachu, but slowly his ears changed and his nose disappeared.
